More about Beginner’s Yoga:

Yoga is for everyone - you don't need to be flexible or have a certain body type to practise. Our beginner's yoga classes introduce you gently to this ancient practice, teaching you the foundational poses, breathing techniques and mindful movement that make yoga such a transformative experience.

You'll be guided through a series of poses at a pace that allows you to really understand each movement. Don't worry if you feel a bit lost at first - learning yoga is similar to learning a new language, and it takes time to understand the poses and how they flow together. Our instructors will show you modifications and alternatives so you can work at your own level, and there's absolutely no pressure to keep up with anyone else in the room.

What you can expect:

Within the first month of regular practice, you'll notice improvements in flexibility, strength, coordination, balance and how your body moves.

But the changes go beyond the physical. Many people find yoga helps with stress management, mental clarity, better sleep and an increased sense of calm and presence throughout their day.

Each class includes a blend of gentle movement, breathing exercises and moments of stillness. Classes typically conclude with a restorative pose where you simply lie still and absorb the benefits of your practice. Women's Health UK This is your time to rest, reflect and allow your body and mind to integrate everything you've experienced.

You might feel a bit out of your comfort zone in your first few sessions, and that's completely normal. Yoga asks you to focus deeply, move in new ways and be present with yourself. Give it an honest try with at least one class a week, and within a month you'll see noticeable, positive changes.

All you need is comfortable clothing and an open mind. We provide everything else. Come and discover why millions of people around the world have made yoga part of their lives.
