"It can take courage to seek counselling, so I greet you with warmth and compassion. I offer a safe, welcoming space where we can work together to understand your challenges and help you move forward with confidence."
Kim's approach:
Kim works with people who feel overwhelmed, stuck or disconnected, especially those navigating anxiety, burnout, trauma and the after-effects of difficult or toxic relationships. Whether you're facing a specific challenge, struggling with a long-term problem, wanting to find effective strategies to lower anxiety, or hoping for a happier relationship, Kim can help.
Her approach draws from person-centred, gestalt, existential and somatic therapies, alongside Internal Family Systems (IFS) and creative tools like metaphor and journaling. Kim also incorporates Polyvagal theory and somatic practices, but explains everything in simple, everyday language - you don't need to know the terminology. The focus is on helping you feel safer in your body, clearer in your mind and more connected to who you really are.
Kim believes in meeting you where you are, with compassion, curiosity and deep respect for your pace. She offers a safe, welcoming space where you can work together to understand the root cause of your current problems and begin to make changes, gain confidence and move forward so lasting growth can develop and you can live your fullest life.
