Our sessions are an immersive sound healing experience for individuals and groups (of up to 10 people) that use the powerful vibrations of gongs to promote profound relaxation and restoration.

More about Gong Baths:
Gong baths are a type of inactive meditation where you "bathe" in the healing vibrations of sound. Led by the Gong Gurus, these sessions use one gong for individual treatments and up to ten gongs for group experiences, creating a rich tapestry of sound that envelops you completely. The sound waves generated by the gongs interact with your body, causing physical and mental relaxation and helping to restore balance and harmony in mind, body and spirit.
How gong baths work:
Sound is essentially vibration - we don't simply listen with our ears, we listen with every cell in our bodies. The powerful sound waves cause every cell in the body to vibrate, helping to release blocked energy and restore balance. The healing vibrations from the gong emanate at 740 miles an hour, bathing you in sound and passing through your whole being, affecting positive change within your physical, emotional and inner self.
The complex overtones and smooth flow of sounds from the gong entrain your brainwaves from the beta state (normal waking consciousness) into the lower alpha and theta states, where the mind is relaxed and can restore. Spending time in the alpha and theta states has been proven to reduce stress, improve blood pressure, and stimulate creativity, memory, focus and support an overall peaceful mood.
What you might experience:
Physically, you may notice muscle relaxation and associated pain relief. Mentally, some people experience visions of colour, well-defined images, swirling patterns or even intense dreams.
The profound relaxation may also release emotions and feelings that have been held in check for years. You might experience this release in the form of tears or laughter as these emotions surface and let go. These emotions, when held tight in our whole systems, can contribute to ill health - releasing them is one of the ways we keep ourselves healthy and balanced.
For some people, gong baths can also be a spiritual experience, showing or reminding them of another layer of their existence.
