More about Dancing for Health & Wellbeing:

Our Dancing for Health & Wellbeing sessions bring together simple, joyful dances from cultures all around the world. You might find yourself swaying to music from Greece one moment, then stepping to rhythms from Eastern Europe the next. Some dances have been passed down through generations, carrying ancient wisdom in their movements, whilst others are freshly choreographed to beautiful classical or contemporary pieces.

The dances are short and straightforward - no complicated routines to memorise or performance pressure. You'll pick them up quickly, and before you know it, you'll be moving with the group as though you've been doing it for years.

What makes this class special:

There's something about dancing together that goes beyond typical exercise. Yes, you'll get all the physical benefits, improved coordination, cardiovascular health and mobility, but you'll also experience something deeper. The music lifts your spirits, the movements harmonise your body and mind, and the circle of fellow dancers creates a sense of connection that nourishes your soul.

This class welcomes everyone, regardless of age, ability or dance experience. Whether you're eighteen or eighty, nimble or working through physical challenges, there's a place for you here. Come and discover why humans have been dancing in circles together for thousands of years.
